El mundial de clubes ha terminado para los equipos italianos, tanto el Inter como la Juve quedaron eliminados en octavos de final. Un poco temprano a mi parecer, pero quizás es beneficioso para ambos equipos, ya que tienen más tiempo para el descanso necesario de los jugadores y para enfocarse de cara a las competiciones que se avecinan la siguiente temporada.

La Juventus a pesar de caer en la misma ronda que el Inter le fue un poco mejor, si bien sus rivales árabes no estuvieron a la altura, los derrotaron categóricamente, sin embargo al jugar contra el City y contra el Madrid se pudo ver la realidad de este conjunto, y siendo honesto, no tienen nada para competir en Europa, falta mucho trabajo para que este equipo levante un buen nivel, o mejor dicho, uno consistente.

Igor Tudor no está a la altura, es lo que pienso, es un buen técnico pero no para esta Juve que necesita una reestructuración futbolística completa. Para ser sincero, no le veo nivel ni ante el Inter ni mucho menos contra el Napoli que se está armando poderosamente.

Sin embargo, el tiempo de fichajes ha iniciado, y hay suficiente tiempo para planear, solo espero que la directiva pueda y quiera invertir lo necesario para mejorar el plantel. El primer paso es salir de Vlahovic, definitivamente el Serbio fue un malgaste de dinero, pero quien lo iba a saber. El problema con Vlahovic es que su salario es muy alto y ningún otro club le va a pagar lo que gana en la Juve aun cuando su traspaso sea por debajo de los 80 millones de Euros que se invirtieron por él.

El siguiente paso es comprar o mantener a Kolo Muani como centro delantero principal. Dejarlo ir sería una mala decisión, aunque tampoco será muy fácil retenerlo, pues el Chelsea muestra bastante interés en él y el PSG podría venderlo a dicho club. Por último, hay que reforzar otras líneas donde la vecchia signora ha mostrado mucha debilidad.

Ahora bien, hablando del subcampeón de Europa, su paso por el mundial de clubes fue muy trastabillado, pero era algo de esperarse, ya que jugaron una temporada intensa aunque para el olvido debido a que no ganaron absolutamente nada. El tema central de este equipo es adaptarse a las ideas de Chivu, su nuevo entrenador, un técnico que ha mostrado un futbol parecido al de Inzaghi pero que en definitiva es diferente.

Sumado a eso, hay un conflicto interno, pues hay jugadores que no encajan en la mentalidad del club. El mismo Lautaro lo ha manifestado, incluso como capitán ha deseado que esos jugadores salgan, por ejemplo el turco Calhanouglu es uno de ellos, quien no termina de definirse, o se va a Arabia o se queda en el Inter.

Particularmente me gustaría que saliera, si bien es un cerebro en la mitad de la cancha, ya está en una edad donde su velocidad y reflejos son inferiores a los de sus rivales. Si el Inter quiere competir y aumentar su nivel en Europa debe invertir en jugadores más jóvenes y de buen perfil técnico, jugadores que puedan aportar esa calidad de juego con mayor intensidad.

El mismo tema va para la defensa, allí hay que invertir si o sí. Solo Bastoni por su juventud mantiene un buen nivel, pero hay otros que a pesar de ser buenos, no pueden seguir siendo los titulares en base a su edad y habilidad actual. Recuerdo que cuando jugaba Pro-Evolution – la vieja escuela entenderá -, armar equipos era algo divertido y desafiante a la vez. Asi que espero que a la directiva también le guste esto, de modo que el proyecto neroazurri siga avanzando hasta alcanzar la gloria europea y no decaiga, como el Milan y la misma Juve, que son solo sombras de glorias pasadas.
