Después de un continuo viajar de una parte para otra del mundo regreso a mi pais de adopción.

Quien sabe, la idea de terruño, de lugar natal, cada vez se está alejando más de la realidad.

La posibilidad de viajar, de interactuar con personas de todas partes del mundo y de usar medios y sistemas de pago aceptados universalmente sin necesidad de cambiar las divisas por moneda local como se hacía en un tiempo ha simplificado mucho las maneras no solo de viajar sino de vivir en el exterior.

El inicio de la pandemia me agarró en Europa donde inicialmente, por problemas para viajar, decidí quedarme. Primero en España, después en Italia.

Tuve la posibilidad de viajar a los EE. UU y me quedé varios meses. Ahí descubrí #HIVE y comencé a publicar algún artículo que otro.

En estos últimos dos años he absorbido culturas distintas, he aprendido cosas nuevas y por sobre todas las cosas he comprendido el sentido de la palabra tolerancia. En todos los aspectos. Social, económico, político. En un mundo en el que la pandemia continúa a dividirlo cada vez más. No por el color de la piel. Sino por la idiosincracia misma.

Y en este ir y venir de la información me acabo de enterar de que hace pocas horas acaba de terminar el Gran Premio de Motociclismo en el circuito del Mugello en Italia.

Lo cuál me trae lindos recuerdos porque durante mi estadía en aquúl país fui a verlo. Un circuito muy lindo, con muchos lugares panorámicos donde los espectadores se pueden sentar en el césped mismo y admirar toda la carrera mientras escuchan música, se comen un sandwich o simplemente admiran el paisaje.

Y del resultado de la carrera (de cuyos aspectos no me quiero ocupar) destaco dos datos que afloran en mi meoria: el ocaso irreversible de una leyenda (Valentino Rossi) y la dificultad en re-inserisce en esta temporada de otra leyenda -en este caso naciente- luego de su terrible accidente que lo llevó a estar inactivo casi un año (Marc Márquez).

Uno terminó décimo en una de sus mejores clasificaciones de este año. Y el otro terminó la carrera apenas iniciada protagonizando un accidente y cayéndose a tierra con el posterior abandono.

Me da pena ver a estos dos tremndos motociclistas, uno joven y el otro entrado en años, en lugares tan alejados de la punta.

Tal vez cuando todos pensaban que Márquez volvía al circuito y comenzaba a ganar se equivocaban (yo entre ellos).

Y para aquellos fanáticos de la número 46 el reconocimiento a una figura legendaria que en algún momento debería decir basta. Para no arruinar su propia imagen. Aunque el mismo Valentino ha dicho: "Corro porque me gusta. El día que no sienta la adrenalina correr por mis venas, ese dia dejaré de correr. Mientras tanto, sigo". Toda una definición del ganador de nueve campeonatos mundiales. Tal vez el décimo nunca llegue.

Las estadísticas de la carrera dicen que ganó el francés de origen italiano Fabio Quartararo quien se siente mucho mejor cuando Márquez participa que durante el año pasado cuando el catalán estuvo ausente.

De esta manera alarga su diferencia sobre su más inmediatos seguidores: el francés Johann Zarco i el italiano Francesco Bagnaia.

El último campeón de la categoría, el español Joan Mir, tercero en el Mugello se encuentra quinto en la clasifiación general a cuarenta puntos de Quartararo.

En efecto, cuando todos pensaban que el 2020 era suyo cayó abruptamente en una serie de resultados negativos de los cuales nunca pudo salir dejándole el Mundial servido en bandeja a un anónimo Mir.

Este año ha recuperado la fuerza y la confianza con en el 2019, el año en que fue la revelación de la MotoGP. Sin Márquez a pelearle el liderazgo parece difícil que aparezca otro candidado. Y al francés el de Cervera lo potencia.

Y entre alegrías y desilusiones, la tragedia. Que en en este caso ha visto como protagonista Jason Dupasquier, el joven suizo de 19 años fallecido como consecuencia del accidente protagonizado en Moto2 el sébado en pruebas de clasificación.

Como en el caso de Simoncelli hace algunos años atrás la muerte no fue causada por la caída sino por ser embestido por otro piloto, en este caso Ayumu Sasaki. Los tentativos de los médicos del hospital Careggi de Florencia por salvarlo fueron inútiles.

El mismo Quartararo apenas superada la meta rompió en llanto al recordar al joven piloto desaparecido.

And in this back and forth of the information I just learned that a few hours ago the Motorcycle Grand Prix just ended at the Mugello circuit in Italy.

Which brings me nice memories because during my stay in this country I went to see him. A very nice circuit, with many panoramic places where spectators can sit on the grass itself and admire the entire race while listening to music, eating a sandwich or simply admiring the landscape.

And the result of the race (whose aspects I do not want to deal with) I highlight two data that emerge in my memory: the irreversible decline of a legend (Valentino Rossi) and the difficulty in re-inserting in this season of another legend -in this one nascent case- after his terrible accident that led him to be inactive for almost a year (Marc Márquez).
