Con gran expectativa inician su camino hacia las semifinales los ocho selccionados clasificados.

Analicemos juntos los dos partidos de hoy viernes que abren estas instancias definitorias que clasificaran a los mejores cuatro del continente europeo.

Suiza 1 - España 1

En un partido de discreto nivel técnico España supera a Suiza por penales y accede a cuartos de final.

Lo que se preanunciaba como un partido espectacular de acuerdo al último partido en octavos de España se vio bruscamente alterado a los primeros minutos de empezado el partido. Los goles prematuros generalmente cambian las perspectivas de juego.

A la salida de un córner, el balón quedó boyando en área y la fortuna sonrió a España. El remate de Jordi Alba siempre lanzado al ataque se desvió en Zakaria, descolocó a Sommer y se transformó en la inesperada ventaja inicial para los españoles.

Pero en ese aspecto España estuvo muy atenta y los primeros cuarenta y cinco minutos se fueron en medio del aburrimiento y la actitud conservadora de ambos equipos, algono no usual hasta este momento en esta muy atractiuva EUROCOPA.

El segundo tiempo mostró cambios en ambos equipos con ambiciones distintas: España tratando de consolidar la posesión del balón y contratacar con eficacia y Suiza más dispuesta a ir al ataque.

Y el empate vino de otro rebote. Un centro de Freuler aparentemente inocuo dio una cambola en los defensores centrales Laporte y Pau Torres y el balón le quedó servido a Shaquiri quien disparó esquinado ante las estirada de Unai Simon, la pelota golpeó en la base del palo y entró. Gol, uno a uno.

En un gran partido de una gran intensidad Italia superó a Bélgica y pasó a cuartos de final.(

Italia y Bélgica en cambio no decepcionaron. Fieles a sus consignas futbolísticas entregaron un primer tiempo lleno de emociones.

Y respetaron los pergaminos que traían desde la zona de clasificación en cuyos grupos (A y B) habían clasificado sin problemas con el ciento por ciento de efectividad (nueve puntos en tres partidos ambas) y hasta casi con la misma diferencia de gol (7-0 Italia y 7-1 Bélgica).
