El Barcelona llegaba hoy con la obligación de olvidar el varapalo en la Europa League, competición que fue apeado por el Eintrach de Frankfurt. Además de la derrota en el Camp Nou, la afición azulgrana fue desbordada por la hinchada germana, hay que destacar que los de Xavi aún tienen posibilidades matemáticas de alzar esta liga, con dos partidos menos está a 15 del líder Real Madrid.
La alineación como novedad la vuelta a la titularidad del neerlandés Memphis Depay, aparte Alves se queda en el banquillo a favor de Dest, Lenglet entra por el apercibido Araujo, el resto los habituales de siempre, Ter Stegen, Eric Garcia, Jordi Alba, Busquet, Frenkie de Jong, Gavi Dembele y Ferran Torres. Antes del Partido, el Cádiz estaba Antepenúltimo tratando de salvar la categoría.

La segunda Mitad no podía empezar peor para el Barca a los 2 minutos de iniciado el tiempo un centro al área y Lucas Pérez remata hasta tres veces en el área ante la frágil e inerte defensiva del Barca llegando con ella el Gol de la visita, Luego de allí el barca intento reaccionar con quien más, con Dembele tratando de darle una marcha más, pero este no era el partido del Barcelona un juego muy espeso y previsible, llegan los cambios primero entra Aubameyang por depay, luego a los minutos entra Traore y Luuk de Jong por Lenglet y Frenkie de Jong los más flojos hasta ese momento, luego con el Barca Volcado y el Cádiz defendiendo hubo oportunidades de marcar ahí tuvo muy buenas atajadas Ledesma el portero de Cádiz primero había hecho unas atajadas a dembele en una jugada y en un tiro libre, luego hubo remates de cabeza de Luuk de Jong, Aubameyang estuvo a punto de marcar, Eric Garcia remate desde fuera y todos bien resueltos por el meta del Cadiz, aunque no hay que olvidar que también el Cadiz dispuso de varios chances de aumentar la cuenta.
Al final dieron 7 minutos de añadidos, pero ni así fue suficiente y el Barcelona pierden en su casa contra el Cadiz 1 a 0, con este resultado se quedan con los mismos 60 puntos con un juego menos los mismos puntos que el Sevilla y el atlético de Madrid y a 15 puntos del que es casi campeón de la Liga Real Madrid faltando 6 jornadas para su conclusión, por otra parte, el Cadiz logra salir de los puestos de descenso con esta victoria llegando a 31 puntos dos por encima para la permanencia, espero le haya gustado, hasta una próxima oportunidad
