Hablando de Estrellas, el día de ayer estuvo de cumpleaños Michael Jordan (ayer @yusmi realizó un excelente post en la comunidad al respecto) quien para muchos es considerado como el mejor jugador de la historia, en lo particular yo no estoy en este artículo para hacer comparaciones, lo que sí es seguro que el impacto de Jordan sus números impresionantes como anotador y defensor y sus chicago Bulls de los 90 cambió la perspectiva del juego, siendo el primer equipo en ganar campeonatos sin un pívot estrella en equipo, (con centros de este equipo eran meramente jugadores de rol a diferencia del resto de los campeones del pasado que se anclaban en esta posición) a partir de su llegada el juego ha ido orientándose cada vez más hacia el perímetro, y nadie puede negar la influencia que aún casi 20 años después de su retiro ejerce en este deporte. Considerando su desempeño, tal parece que han logrado engranar todas esas piezas que han permitido su participación en las postemporadas los últimos años, la revitalización del juego de Conely, el retorno de Favors como reserva de Golbert, y el ascendente juego de Donovan Mitchel han sido claves para este gran desempeño hasta el momento del equipo con sede en Salt Lake City.
