Se acerca una nueva doble fecha de eliminatoria al mundial Qatar 2022 en la Conmebol, con encuentros muy interesantes y difíciles, como nos tienen acostumbrados estas selecciones, que protagonizan, para muchos, y me incluyo, las eliminatorias más difíciles a nivel mundial, en esta ocasión nos enfocaremos en las bajas sensibles de último momento, que presenta la selección de Venezuela para esta doble fecha, donde visitan a Bolivia y reciben a la poderosa selección de Uruguay, los días jueves 03 y martes 08 de junio respectivamente.

Tras cuatro (04) jornadas jugadas de dieciocho (18) posibles, la vinotinto ocupa el 8vo lugar de la clasificación, con saldo de una (01) victoria y tres (03) derrotas, únicos tres (03) puntos gracias a una victoria en condición de local sobre la selección de Chile, tiene que demostrar y esta obligado a sacar buenos resultados en esta doble fecha para sumar e ir escalando posiciones, y seguir soñando con la clasificación, Peseiro tiene duro trabajo, en saber sacar y aprovechar lo mejor de esta selección que tiene talento de sobra, que aunque en estos momentos estamos fuera de la clasificación, contamos con el tiempo necesario para corregir las fallas y poder sacar los resultados que todos esperamos para lograr clasificar de manera directa o repechaje con ese quinto (05) puesto, sin duda que una tarea muy dura pero no imposible.

Esta doble fecha será de mucha importancia para la selección de Venezuela en sus aspiraciones de clasificar, primero les corresponde ir al Estadio Olímpico Hernando Siles en la altura de la paz, donde solo hemos logrado a nivel de historia un solo triunfo y fue hace algunos años, bajo la conducción del estratega Cesar Farías, que casualmente hoy dirige a la selección boliviana, creo que hoy estamos en mejor posibilidad de ganar que aquella vez, a pesar de las bajas que ya tenemos por lesión, tiene Peseiro que hacer un buen planteamiento de juego para lograr hacer daño a la defensa boliviana, estoy convencido que será un encuentro muy parejo pero con altas posibilidades de sumar, ya sea ganando o empatando, luego les toca recibir en casa en el Estadio Olímpico (UCV) de la ciudad de Caracas, a la selección de Uruguay, el encuentro más duro en esta doble fecha, sabemos que futbolísticamente hablando, los uruguayos siempre nos han llevado la ventaja en este gran deporte, pero los últimos años hemos sabido jugarle de tú a tú, ganando en varias oportunidades, soy de los que piensa que para poder clasificar tenemos que hacernos fuertes de local y más aun con nuestros rivales directos, es de mucha importancia no perder con los uruguayos, este será un encuentro donde Venezuela tiene que estar bien parada defensivamente y aprovechar las oportunidades que pueda crear, para poder quedarse con la victoria, una tarea muy difícil, pero deberíamos sacar por lo menos cuatro (04) puntos en este doble fecha y de ser posible hasta los seis (06), para posicionarnos en puestos de clasificación.

Con respecto a las bajas que presenta la vinotinto, pienso que, aunque son de mucha importancia, tenemos jugadores para medianamente y de buena manera reemplazar estas ausencias, si hablamos de la defensa donde Osorio para mi gusto es el más resaltante y regular de todos, se nos viene a la cabeza jugadores como: Wilker Angel, Mikel Villanueva, Nahuel Ferraresi y Jhon Chancellor, que vienen haciendo un buen papel en sus clubes y pueden trasladar ese buen momento a la selección, tiene Peseiro para elegir cuáles serán los responsables de la zaga central, por otro lado la ausencia inesperada de Yangel, que pesa mucho, y a la vez pensando en tres (03) mediocampista que tome en cuenta Peseiro en la titular debido a su ausencia, estos podrían ser Junior Moreno, Tomas Rincón y Cristian Casseres, que para mí serían los tres (03) responsables del medio campo para esta doble fecha, por ultimo a falta del número nueve (09) y goleador histórico Salomón Rondón, hay muchas variantes para suplirlo, que la verdad no sé, qué decisión terminara tomando Peseiro para este puesto, una buena opción sería darle oportunidad a Josef Martínez, que está de vuelta a las canchas y por lo que significa para esta selección, pero no trae el ritmo de juego al estar prácticamente un año inactivo, esperemos que Peseiro tome las mejores decisiones y podamos sacar buenos resultados que tanto hacen falta.
