El Barca llegaba a la cita con el propósito de mantener ese segundo lugar, por cierto fue favorecido con los resultados que han tenido en la Jornada sus rivales directos, un resultado positivo favorecía a los De Xavi muchísimo pues los haría posicionarse de la mejor manera e ir asegurando esa segunda plaza. El Mallorca vuelve a hacer cambios y entra Lee y Slava Sevilla, mientras el Barca seguía atrancado y Ferran se la perdía luego de un buen pase de Frankie a Jordi que centraba para el español que fallaba esta pero inmediatamente después le queda un balón luego de unos rebotes y marca pero para su mala suerte es anulado.
