FuenteDesde mi criterio propio creo que el fútbol venezolano de primera división aún está en pañales y le falta un largo camino que recorrer para intentar crecer y ponerse a la par de otros países con ligas exigentes y competitivas del continente, pues las fallas a nivel de liga y organización son innumerables y van desde el mal estado de los terrenos en los estadios, falta de pago a los trabajadores de algunos equipos, muchos estadios no tienen las medidas ni cumplen las exigencias de la confederación sudamericana de fútbol.

FuenteA nivel mediático es muy empírica la cobertura y no es para menos pues no podemos mostrar estadios con terrenos en mal estados, vacíos sin público (antes de la pandemia), cada inicio de temporada informan a través de los medios que televisaran la mayor cantidad de juegos y a veces ni uno solo transmiten, a todo esto se liga la falta de preparación que muchas veces dejan en evidencias los árbitros designados por la federación venezolana de fútbol.
Con la implementación del uso de la tecnología en el fútbol a nivel mundial, Venezuela también se quedó atrás con la activación del video arbitraje en los campos de juego, pues no será sino hasta esta temporada que ya está avanzada, en la que se contrate a una empresa dedicada a tal función.

FuenteEquipos emblemáticos de la liga como, Estudiantes de Mérida, Mineros de Guayana, Trujillanos, portuguesa, Deportivo Lara, Monagas SC han hecho un esfuerzo grande en los últimos años, en cuanto a infraestructura y preparación del personal entre jugadores y empleados para competir a la altura y ofrecer un campeonato de primera, nuestros árbitros Venezolanos han venido preparándose académicamente en cada curso, seminario, posgrados para estar listos de cara a competencias internacionales, los encargados de prensa de cada equipo con los pocos recursos que cuentan hacen un esfuerzo en ocasiones sobre humano para multiplicar las informaciones, muchos equipos han invertido en la adquisición de un gerente de mercadeo para un mejor marketing, sin embargo todos estos esfuerzos parecen en vano, pues un solo palo no hace montaña, hace falta compromiso por parte de los que rigen el fútbol en Venezuela, para poder brindar un mejor espectáculo y nuestro fútbol se venda como un producto de primera y pueda dársele el valor que merece a nivel internacional.
Comparado con décadas pasadas el deporte del balompié ha crecido, no lo niego, pero ese crecimiento ha sido lento, y no debe ser así pues para competir debes crecer igual o hasta mejor que tus rivales en el mercado para obtener resultados buenos en lo económico, vender el fútbol venezolano no es fácil a muchos ni les interesa, otros no saben que en su región existe un equipo profesional y muchos jugadores a pesar de su talento los desconocen, por eso sigo insistiendo en una campaña que valla más allá de habladurías y promesas incumplidas, a hechos concretos donde se corrija lo negativo y empiecen a proyectarse las actividades positivas. Así el futbol venezolano dejara de ser vistos como un producto de segunda.
