FuenteHoy quiero hacer un análisis de acuerdo a la actuación de las dos selecciones que quedaron fuera de la primera ronda de la copa américa 2021, pues el nombre de cenicientas no escapa de ellas, ya que a lo largo de la historia han pasado por más pena que gloria; la Vinotinto en su historial de copa continental nada más tiene en su currículo un cuarto lugar logrado en el 2011 en Argentina siendo lo más lejos que ha llegado en esta competencia, Bolivia tiene en su vitrina y con esto hago la salvedad ya que los del altiplano, han saboreado la gloria en una ocasión y han mordido un pedacito del manjar dulce de la copa, porque en 1963 Bolivia quedo campeón del torneo de selecciones más antiguo del mundo fuera de los juegos olímpicos y en 1997 saboreo una final del torneo frente Brasil pero cayó en su propio territorio por 3-1 quedando subcampeones.
A lo largo de la historia muchos han sido los desaciertos de nuestras selecciones, y cuando digo nuestras me refiero a hinchas con sentido patrio, tanto Bolivianos como Venezolanos, generaciones enteras han pasado en Bolivia desde la última vez que alzaron el trofeo, y pienso que para esta fecha ya ni testigos de ese título pudieran existir, y si los hay tal vez no recuerden nada, solos los que vieron aquella final con Brasil en el 97 pueda que tengan algo que contar, pero con las esperanzas aun de volver a vivir esa experiencia de ver a su selección en una final. (Algo que parece muy cuesta arriba).

La Vinotinto de Venezuela no ha logrado nada más resaltante que el cuarto lugar en el año 2011 como lo dije al principio y es lo más lejos que ha llegado en el fútbol pues tampoco se ha clasificado a un mundial con la selección de mayores y es junto a Ecuador las únicas que no han ganado la copa América, aunque los meridionales han estado en los papeles por su nivel de competencia y se han ganado el respeto en el campo.

Sin resultados resaltantes ni positivos, Venezuela logró dos puntos con sufrimiento y Bolivia no consiguió un solo punto en su grupo y es que hasta en las últimas 4 eliminatorias mundialista ninguna de las dos ha logrado quedar de quinta, aunque Bolivia si ha logrado estar en tres mundiales, en 1930 asistió como invitada, en 1950 logró clasificarse después del retiro de Argentina y Perú de las eliminatorias, y en el mundial de 1994 se clasifico jugando las eliminatorias.

FuenteVenezuela con su actuación en el mundial sub 20 del 2017 en Corea del Sur, logro el subcampeonato, por un momento nos hizo pensar que la etiqueta de ultima, tanto en eliminatorias como en copa américa desaparecería, pues dese entonces se han mezclado jugadores de esa convocatoria con otros experimentados, pero aún no se logra salir del fondo de ninguna tabla donde haya participado nuestra Vinotinto de mayores, otra vez regresamos a casa con las manos vacías, de últimos en la tabla del grupo “B” y en eliminatorias igual vamos penúltimos, por todo esto y mucho más Venezuela se convierte en primera cenicienta de América pues los resultados negativos así lo certifican.
