Messi to Inter? Now the club's director is speaking
Seeing Lionel Messi in a jersey other than FC Barcelona's may be unreal for some. Still, there have been several rumors as to whether the Argentine will call it off with the Catalans. One of the hottest rumors has been a switch to Italian Inter, and now the club's director, Giuseppe Marotta, is also going out and giving his opinion on the rumor.
Messi is certainly not one of our transfer goals, and I think he will continue his career in Barcelona, Marotta tells Italian Sky.
He thus also believes that Lionel Messi in an Inter jersey is unthinkable. However, it is still uncertain what Messi will do in the future. It has previously be mentioned throughout the media that the Argentine is very dissatisfied with FC Barcelona. A club he has played for since 2001.
Lionel Messi is said to have dropped the negotiations regarding a contract extension. If this rumor is true, he will leave the club until next summer, when his contract expires.
