Bronze League Strategies
As I said in this previous post; Let's play Splinterlands in the Bronze League!, the Bronze is the gateway for most players, who, even if they manage to advance to the Silver League, can have more suitable cards to play with maximum strength in the Bronze League.
So today we are going to continue our study of strategies in the Bronze League.
Before showing battles I would like to present some basic concepts in general lines that can help, although they are not definitive and must be used wisely, to distinguish each particular case.
Much of the strategy must be applied taking into account the battle rule and the splints available for a certain battle, so these tips will not always work, especially since there is the luck factor that contributes to the final result on many occasions.
All epic summoners
In the Bronze League, Epic summoners let you use level 3 rare cards instead of level 2 rare cards compared to what a rare summoner can do.
Healing is very strong in this league, especially double healing because the amount of damage from the enemy attack may be lower than our healing per round.
Privilege the use of monsters with an attack greater than + 1, since cards with only + 1 attack, may not affect enemy creatures with "Shield" ability, or magic attacks + 1 against creatures with "Void", as well against the Mimosa summoner.
Precisely for this reason and because few monsters have attack + 2 or higher, the buffing attack is very important.
So, adding a +1 attack make big difference, so strong summoners are Daria, Alric, Valnamor, Malric, Plado, Selenia, Prince Rennyn, and Yodin Zaku.
Powerful Summoners with + Attack
So Snipes attacks can be very dangerous for all other summoners and need to think about to protect from Double Snipe which could quickly kill second line monsters.
Legendary monsters can only be used at level 1 and are therefore much less strong than in other leagues, just like Lord Arianthus is weak and it’s not a problem when we heavy magic.
Melee attacks with double "Sneak" and "Opportunity" can be strong in certain cases that we will study in more detail later, but in general not so much for the following reasons:
Usually, it does not have enough attack, it can be debuffed by Zintar Mortalis or Camila Sungazer, which make reduce the attack of both sneak cards to 1, which is weak.
The possibility of meeting Mylor Crowling with "Thorns" in front of you, which greatly reduces its efficiency.
With these assimilated concepts it is possible to make good decisions when choosing the teams and the order of the cards on the battlefield, which although they do not guarantee victory, can help a lot and bring good results if used consistently.
I will be back soon bringing some battles where we will be able to see how all this can work in practice.
See you later!
Special thanks to amazing @jacekw for helping me understand several of these strategic concepts at the time I was starting as a player.
