Quick Battle Tips – Taunt on Equal Opportunity

Hey friends lovers, like me, of the best crypto game of all time: Splinterlands!

Today I bring you a quick battle strategy tip to use in the Equal Opportunity ruleset.

BjQczvNz.png Equal Opportunity:

All Monsters have the Opportunity ability.

In this rule, whenever possible, insert a monster with the Taunt ability:

All enemy Monsters target this Monster.

Here, as all monsters in combat will try to attack the enemy card with fewer hit points (opportunity), normally you would have to try not to add cards with a low amount of hit points, but there is a way to get around this problem at the beginning of combat: use Taunt!

All cards with taunt

Taunt somehow nullifies the Equal Opportunity rule, as long as the monster with Taunt doesn't die, as it forces all enemy cards to attack specifically that monster with Taunt.

In case your opponent doesn't use a card with Taunt himself, we can observe that, while your whole team attacks our monster with Taunt, we can make the party with opportunity quickly killing the opponent's weaker monsters.

See an example, which happened the other day with me playing in a Bronze League tournament, in this battle where I used the Kraken...

It was an easy victory where we were able to observe this strategy in action.

I hope that from now on you will use this feature when you come across this ruleset and be able to win many battles!

Until the next quick battle tip!

I keep getting wrecked in Equaliser by tauntybois.
My only max Taunt is Kraken. Might be shopping time.

the Kraken is definitely the strongest! But it's worth having the others, especially the Shieldbearer, as it's common, uses less mana and can be used on more occasions.
