How To Be Good At Front Kick

Front kick is not that powerful kick. You might hear something like this. Well, I disagree with that. Front kick is a powerful kick if you are good at it and know how to use it in a fight.

Before practicing front kick or any other kicks, you should do some exercises and warm-up. You can do stretching. It will help you to extend your leg and kick properly.

You can do front kick preparation. So what do I mean by front kick preparation? Front kick preparation is doing front kick slowly following every single step.

For example, you can do it in 5 calls. One, keep your leg up, only your toe touching the ground and shift your weight on the other leg. Two, raise your leg up and front without kicking. Three, extend your leg to do front kick and hold the position.

When you extend your leg and hold the leg, you will feel pressure on your thigh. You will find it difficult to hold this position longer. Don't worry. Keep practicing. You will hold his position longer later.

Four, move your leg back and bring it in number three position. Five, put your leg on the ground. In this way, you can practice front kick preparation. After that, you can do front kicks.

If you do 10 front kicks on your right leg, do the equal times that is, 10 front kicks on your left leg. You can put speed and power later.

Using a kick bag to practice front kicks is great. You know how it feels to kick on something. So spend some time to kick on the kick bag.

You can also practice front kick with your training partner. When you do your training like this, you see on your own how good you are at doing front kicks.

Hey brother,
I was away from both steem and hive for a long time.
After coming back now the first post I saw was yours. You are one of them I try to follow on steemit and hive. And your self defense technique was really helpful for me.
