I've have grown the times that Philippines always lost to South Korea in basketball, especially on Korea's shooting skills from the rainbow arc. This time, Koreans got a dose of their own medicine when the Phil. team hit a buzzer-beating three-pointer.

I've seen the Korean basketball league a few times (i.e. Moebus Phoebus v Sonicboom) but have never watched a national team game from them. Likewise, I have not seen the Philippines play either. Will the winner of this cup qualify for the summer Olympics? I'd love to learn more about the Asian squads and if you have a level of familiarity with them, we'd love to have some stats and predictions ahead of the summer olympics! Great update here.

Hi, this match is for the FIBA Asia Cup 2021 Qualifier. In 2017, South Korea won the bronze. Philippines has always been the underdog between the two. Even if the Philippines is very far away from the top of the world rankings, basketball is the number one sports in the country.
