There is a saying in German that marks this day very well:
In this weather you don't hunt a dog in front of the door!
Today there was constant drizzle with a dense grey cloud cover, which lay over the landscape like a concrete roof.
So it was not surprising that I was only outside for a short time and I did not feel like walking many kilometers in the rain. By the way, my umbrella too refused to accompany me for a longer walk . . . .-)
Es gibt auf Deutsch einen Spruch, der den heutigen Tag sehr gut trifft:
Bei diesem Wetter jagt man keinen Hund vor die Tür!
Heute gab es dauerhaften Nieselregen mit einer dichten grauen Wolkendecke, die wie ein Betondach über der Landschaft lag.
Es war also nicht verwunderlich, dass ich nur kurz draußen war und ich keine Lust verspürte viele Kilometer im Regen spazieren zu gehen. Mein Schirm hat sich übrigens auch geweigert mich für einen längeren Spaziergang zu begleiten . . . .-)
