Wednesday.

Blue skies and sunshine on a cold wintery day.

Hazel and I went for an early afternoon walk along the outskirts of the village today. Early enough to see the sun just before it set. If you look closely at the title picture, against the sun, you'll see two birds.

You don't have to squint, I'll show them cropped in, a little bit closer:

 

 

I slowly approached them to take their picture but they weren't interested at all in their own two seconds of internet fame. The crows flew off into the sky with audible discontent.

 

 

Then I saw another bird, graffitied on the wall. This one wasn't so shy and stayed still while I was taking a picture.

And finally, more birds. This time behind a fence. Look at this chicken looking back at you:

This is the first Actifit post I've read. Now, you've inspired me to dive a little deeper and learn more. Seems like a very brilliant idea to fuse blogging with community with movement. At least that's what I'm guessing is going on?

WOW, what beautiful chickens!
You reminded me of a very territorial rooster, not only inside the henhouse, but all over the property, which I had to deal with this summer: if you weren't careful, you might be clawed.
Where you took the photo, wasn't there a rooster?
