Greetings friends!
Gold is a precious metal and Indians are crazy for gold ornaments. Even Hindu Gods and Goddesses like it too much. Their idols are usually not depicted without gold jewellery.
Gold plays a great role in Indian culture. It is the friends of women and also used as a resource that can be used in the dire situation when no other means of exchange is available.
Demand of gold is correspondence to the marriage seasons. But, this is not the wedding season and also the economic condition of the country is not suitable for people to buy luxurious items like gold jewellery. Also, shops are not opened during the lockdown. So, what is causing the rapid increase in the price of gold in india? Isn't it the sign of people's lack of trust in government and its currency? Now, gold price is 50000 INR per 10 gram which is more than 25 percent. It means the trust between the government and the people is shaking. If is is true, then it's not a good sign.
