A New Snow Play - My Actifit Report Card: February 1 2026

While out for a walk with my daughter, we came across an interesting kind of snow play. It was about drawing figures on trees and other surfaces using snow. In the park, many of the trees had faces, animals and so on.

Even though we’ve had snowy winters since my daughter was born and went for snow walks, this was the first time I’d ever seen this kind of play. Of course, we decided to give it a try ourselves—but drawing clean lines was harder than it looked! It took a little while to get the hang of gently, softly placing the snow on the tree surface to form lines.

This winter has been colder than usual, but in another month or two, spring will come and the weather will warm up again. Until then, I think I enjoy the cold and the snow while they’re here.

子供と散歩に出かけておもしろい雪遊びを見かけました。それは、雪で木などに絵を描くというもので、公園の木々にはたくさん顔やら動物やらが描かれていました。子供が生まれてから雪が降る冬は何度もあったのに、この遊びを見かけたのは今年が初めてです。我々もチャレンジしてみましたが、線を描くのがなかなか難しい！やさしーく、そーっと雪を木の上に置いて線を描いていく感覚をつかむのにちょっと時間がかかりました。

今年の冬は例年になく寒いですが、あと1、2ヶ月して春になれば暖かくなるだろうし、寒さも雪も楽しもうと思うのでした。
