Christmas freely... almost digital nomad? 🙄 |🇮🇹 Natale in libertà... quasi nomade digitale?
It took Christmas to make the sun shine?
It had been raining, or cloudy anyway, for nine days in a row, so today was a great joy to welcome the (God) sun!
I got up relatively late and walked around Chiavari, going to explore areas that in these days I hadn't visited yet... and I took a lot of interesting shots that I'm still (slowly) downloading, because at the same time I've launched the upgrade to Ubuntu Linux 20.04 and this activity is slowing down my disk access... well, I'm expecting faster speeds, starting from tomorrow!
After a succulent and frugal Christmas meal, I exposed myself to the sun for a while on the terrace.
Then, attracted by the beautiful day, I decided to go for a walk along the Lavagna seafront... and actually, for me who likes rough seas, it was a truly spectacular experience!
Walking on the beach, I chatted with Davide and Erika, he from Milan, she from Turin, who fell in love in Cavi di Lavagna... it was nice to laugh and joke with guys I had just met!
Walking was so pleasant that I decided to go to Sestri Levante... a route that now, thanks to Google maps, I discover covers a distance of over 9 km (so over 18 km going and coming back).
Considered the pretty late time, while I was walking towards Sestri Levante I had thought of returning to Chiavari by train or hitchhiking, to avoid walking along the road in the dark.
BTW, I managed to get back just after sunset, and there was enough natural light to walk safely.
Tomorrow expect this activity on @actifit... I wonder if it will be the top Christmas Day performance?
During all these walks, besides talking to the guys above, I had long phone and video conversations with friends, including the great artist @armandosodano whose art we are lucky enough to enjoy here on this wonderful HIVE bloGchain!
The spectacle of the rough sea and the presence of the sun filled me with joy and energy!
Now I'm going to rest... my legs are crying out for a well-deserved rest!

Ci voleva Natale per fare arrivare il sole?
Ormai pioveva, o il cielo era comunque nuvoloso, da ben nove giorni, quindi oggi è stata una gran bella festa!
Mi sono alzato relativamente tardi e ho fatto un giro a piedi per Chiavari, andando a esplorare zone che in questi giorni non avevo ancora visitato... e ho scattato tante foto interessanti che però sto ancora (lentamente) scaricando, perchè contemporaneamente ho lanciato l'aggiornamento a Ubuntu Linux 20.04 e questa attività mi sta rallentando l'accesso al disco... vabbè, ho aspettative di maggiori velocità, a partire da domani!
Dopo un succulento frugale pasto di Natale, mi sono esposto per un po' al sole in terrazza poi, attirato dalla bella giornata, ho deciso di andare a passeggiare sul lungomare di Lavagna... ed effettivamente, a me che piace il mare agitato, è stata un'esperienza davvero spettacolare!
Camminando sulla spiaggia, ho chiacchierato con Davide ed Erika, lui Milanese, lei torinese, che si sono innamorati in località Cavi di Lavagna... è stato piacevole ridere e scherzare con ragazzi appena conosciuti!
Camminare era così piacevole, che ho deciso di raggiungere Sestri Levante... un percorso che ora, grazie a Google maps, scopro che copre una distanza di oltre 9 Km (quindi oltre 18 Km andando e tornando).
Vista l'ora, mentre camminavo verso Sestri Levante avevo pensato di tornare a Chiavari in treno o in autostop, per evitare di camminare lungo la strada al buio.
In realtà, sono riuscito a tornare appena dopo il tramonto, e la luce naturale era sufficiente per camminare in sicurezza.
Domani aspettatevi questa attività su @actifit... chissà se sarà la top performance del giorno di Natale?
Durante tutte queste camminate, oltre a parlare con i ragazzi di cui sopra, mi sono intrannenuto in lunghe conversazioni telefoniche e video-chiamate con amici, incluso in grande artista @armandosodano di cui abbiamo la fortuna di assaporare la sua arte qua su questa splendida HIVE bloGchain!
Lo spettacolo del mare agitato e la presenza del sole mi ha riempito di gioia ed energia!
Ora vado a riposare... le mie game, reclamano un meritato riposo!

It had to be just a joke, as I saw in the sunset photo that the sea is "leaking" to the left 😅
But actually, it can prove two things:
-that the Earth is not flat
-you had more artistic approach to photography
