In the morning, after a night of rain and strong wind, I woke up confident of being able to photograph beautiful snowy peaks around Chiavari.
How true is the saying "he who contents himself enjoys"?
And indeed there was snow... but also a lot of clouds, which did not allow me to admire the highest and most distant peaks... but daih, the view is very impressive, isn't it?
Exploring new city streets, I found myself in front of the entrance of the urban cemetery of Chiavari: what better time to visit a place of serenity and peace, in this period of collective madness, in which most people are willing not to live because possessed by the fear of dying?
The cemetery is very large and I reserve the right to publish a detailed post later.
Here I propose some interesting shots, starting from the following two reflections in the rainwater left on the ground after the heavy rains...
This cemetery is also full of statues and monuments...
The cemetery is also on the hill, so from the upper part I could enjoy a nice panorama with a sea view up to the coast of Sestri Levante...
I tried to capture some details of the flowers: I don't have a macro lens, but the result is still interesting... what do you think?
From a distance I caught a glimpse of a cemetery worker and I would have loved to go "interview" him, to see if he loves his job and why... but I went looking for him and never found him again.
Maybe I should have rung the bell to get his attention?
I didn't dare do that, because it would have interrupted the silence of this place of peace and serenity!
Leaving the cemetery, I continued my walk along the Entella River, a place full of vegetable gardens and fruit trees...
In the evening, at sunset, attracted by the roar of the waves, I went to the waterfront to watch the sunset show with the rough sea....
I was in good company, because this show is quite unusual.
Without much pretension, I uploaded the video taken with the cell phone in which you can see how far the water of the rough sea ...
Thank you for your time!
