Gretchen: February 12 2024

(Edited)

I should have gone to Kev's open mic last night, but because of a couple of Valentine's gigs on Wednesday and Friday I decided to practice for a bit.
Following on from yesterday on the neighbour incident I got this baby out the cupboard..

I had forgotten how heavy it is.. and, OMG, it sounds awful; new strings are on the way!
It will sure help with the issue as it's much quieter unplugged, but it is also bigger and I'm only little..

When I see the name on it then my Great-aunt Margarete comes to my mind. We all called her Grete or Gretchen...

That's it for today; Thanks for looking!

It's a beautiful guitar. I want to hear it through it a loud valve amp with a bit of distortion :)

I wish I knew how to do that..
It's only got a few buttons and I still don't know how to use them.. 😂

Did it come with instructions? The distortion would come from the amplifier or a pedal. I have one here if you want to try it.

Don't think so, but you can get them online, I just don't remember what's what, it's not that important to me, I guess

LOL! You should be able to get a few different sounds, so experiment.
