Just a regular corner store in Mexico

Do you see all that crap? All those sugar full, transgenic polluted, wrong fat infested, shitty products? Well, that's a normal corner store in Mexico and the worst part is, they're cheap compared to healthy food so, as you can imagine, everyone eats lots and lots of this bullshit.
No wonder why Mexico is the second fattest country in the world and why we are the world's first in child obesity. I mean, how can a kid fight the urge to buy all this colorful, happy shit? And how can an ignorant mother can say no to him, if she doesn't even know all the negative long and short term effects this kind of food has for a kid?
Well, I caved to my sugar urges - not often I do this, don't worry - and went there to get some. I only bought the cookies in the last pic but, added to that I only counted 6.6k steps for actifit. If i hadn't gone to the gym today I would feel blatantly unhealthy.
Still, shitty place to live at, ain't it?

Oh, that’s really too bad about the abundance of unhealthy snacks. It’s true, kids have a hard time resisting colorful sweet treats. I hope the country gets a health minister who launches an educational campaign!

As I saw the pictures it reminded me of the 711 stores in Thailand with all the same non food. But every time I visit Thailand one of the first things I do is run into a 711 to eat all the things they don't have in Germany.
And then I feel sick for a bit :)
But you're right: it's startling to see how much junk there is. I live quite healthy (except for cigarettes), but cook my food fresh, ride a bicycle, almost never alcohol, etc.. But sometimes those nice, colorful, shiny wrappings just hypnotize me and drag me into their little cave of sugar rush 😵💫
Well; the apocalypse is on its way, so a little bäh food is ok :)
