Memories of Olympic Games: September 20 2020
A lot of East London used to be an absolute dump, lots of warehouses and contaminated land. This changed when London won rights to stage Summer Olympic games 2012. What used to be a dump is now Queen Elisabeth Park - which is where we went on Sunday!
This is an amazing area, with several rivers, an Aquatic Centre and the West Ham FC football ground.
Also, my kids being autistic, they are crazy about trains, and they could see loads of different ones here.

Nice post mate.
What on Earth is that amazing structure in your first two photos?
Looks awesome.
Sorry for not replying, have been away from Actifit for several weeks. That thing is a metal structure called ArcelorMittal Orbit, built for the Olympics. It now has a slide that you can go down in a special capsule - I was too chicken to do this with my kids so told them that it was overbooked on the day
