A Day in the Life of a Real Estate Agent - June 5, 2021

Saturday work day! Been a while since I used Actifit but I remembered to use it for this particularly busy day. Haha~

I live in Quezon City so of course I knew I would walk more than 5,000 steps for sure. Even if I rode MRT/LRTs, I'd still be walking all over the place. 😆

I Traveled to Two Other Cities in One Day!

So I have a property client looking to rent a 1 bedroom condo unit in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig City. I also have another client who asked me to sell their studio in Manila. Cool right?

Since I rarely go out these days, I scheduled both the viewing of units for rent with my taking pictures of the condo for sale. Sounds practical and seems like a good plan right? 😆

I even thought of biking to the light rail station (LRT) but decided against it. Hey I would have a full day of traveling and it would tire me out for sure. No need to add more exertion from biking so I decided to spend money on the usual transportation instead. 😅

First Stop, Manila City!!!

Saturday morning came and finally I went out and about. Rode both the LRT 1 and LRT 2 to get to Taft Avenue, Manila.

This is how LRT 1 trains look like inside these days thanks to the pandemic.

Yep, plastic separators/protectors and social distancing markers everywhere to add protection against the COVID-19 virus. That's on top of everyone wearing face masks + face shields. Of course they also sanitize the train once it reaches the first and last stations.

So anyway, it was the first time I had a reason to go near De La Salle University. Why? Well because the condo unit for sale is in a building right beside this famous school.

I met the owner at the lobby and then I was able to take pictures inside. Here's a pic of the bed beside the window with blinds.

Too bad the amenities are all closed because of the pandemic. Even the pool is not accessible. So sad.

Anyway it's still okay, perhaps next yr life will somehow go back to normal and using pools and other amenities will be fine again.

After taking pics and vids, next stop was Bonifacio Global City (BGC)!

Hello BGC in Taguig City!

After having lunch and getting my clothes air dried (at an almost empty mall) fast food chain fan, I went on my merry way. Hey it's still hot here in the Philippines because summer is just about to end. It should have ended by now but we all know how the weather has changed for the past decade or so...

Anyway so I had to ride the LRT 1 and MRT 3 next and then a bus to get to BGC.

A week or so before the weekend, I was already searching and had found several units that we would look at. We met at a mall and booked a ride hailing service going to three properties.

I took a few pictures too but my meticulous client didn't like all three condo units so not gonna post the pics here. 😅 Suffice it to say, because we had to go to three separate properties, it was a tiring day.

Next time I better use closed shoes so my feet don't hurt from all the walking. Somehow at the end of the day my legs and feet got sore from going to all the places we went to. No thanks to staying indoors most of the time due to the pandemic, maybe. 😆 Oh well.

I also have another set of condo units we will check this week. Hopefully my client will be able to choose one. 😉 Ah such is the life of a real estate agent.
