My Actifit Report Card: March 1 2021

on June 24th 2017 a fire broke out in Grenfell Tower that killed 72 people with loads more injured. The fire started from a faulty refrigerator in a flat on the 4th floor. The type of cladding used was to blame for the quick spread of the fire and the gap between the building and the cladding caused a "stack effect". Safety concerns and fire hazard warnings had been ignored.

Walking past the tower and the big green heart reminds us continuously of this disaster. Grenfell comes from the English "Green field" which was because of the green fields that used to be present where the tower stands before the sprawl of London over took. As a sign of hope and peace the green colour grew to symbolise the movement that resulted from the Grenfell Tower fire. They will be "forever in our hearts"
