My Actifit Report Card: December 6 2025

Un cálido abrazo a la comunidad de actifit y Hivers, ¿cómo están? Hoy es día de comentarles sobre una experiencia única, vivida por mi persona el día de ayer, al realizar 10k con trote suave en la vía 5 de julio, Maracaibo.

Empecé mi día tranquilamente con una llamada de un compañero preguntándome sobre unas frutas que debía aportar para una tizana que se iba a realizar para el momento posterior del cuarto de maratón, ocasionando que me levantara, alistara y le diera las frutas.

Me alisté y dediqué mi tiempo a realizar deberes en mi casa. Almorcé y me ajusté las agujetas de los zapatos. A las 5 de la tarde salí de mi casa hacia el punto de encuentro, para encontrarme con mis compañeros, los cuales llegaron media hora después.

Calentamiento y activación muscular

Un cuarto de maratón, para un corredor novato toma aproximadamente una hora y veinte minutos. Es necesario calentar los músculos de las piernas, realizar ejercicios para las articulaciones y activar los nervios del cuerpo para empezar a trotar.

Realizamos los ejercicios adecuados, calentamos y activamos el cuerpo para trotar.

El gran reto y Tizana

Soy un corredor relativamente novato, mi capacidad pulmonar y rodillas no están acostumbrados a la carga tan intensa que requiere el trote, y aún así mantuve un buen ritmo: 5:50 aproximadamente en los primeros 4k, y ya en la otra mitad tuve una reducción del rendimiento hasta 6:50 aprox.

Aunque me dolían los pies y piernas al pasar el reto, cabe destacar que fué sencillo ya que mantuve un ritmo suave, respiraba establemente.

Al final tomamos tizana y comimos fruta hasta reventar.

A warm hug to the actifit and Hivers community, how are you? Today is the day to tell you about a unique experience I had yesterday, when I ran 10k at a gentle pace on the 5 de Julio highway in Maracaibo.

I started my day quietly with a call from a colleague asking me about some fruit I needed to bring for a snack that was going to be served after the quarter marathon, which meant I had to get up, get ready, and give him the fruit.

I got ready and spent my time doing chores around the house. I had lunch and adjusted my shoelaces. At 5 p.m., I left my house for the meeting point to meet up with my colleagues, who arrived half an hour later.

Warm-up and muscle activation

A quarter marathon takes approximately one hour and twenty minutes for a novice runner. It is necessary to warm up the leg muscles, perform exercises for the joints, and activate the body's nerves before starting to jog.

We perform the appropriate exercises, warm up, and activate the body for jogging.

The big challenge & Tizana

I am a relatively novice runner, my lung capacity and knees are not used to the intense strain required by jogging, and yet I maintained a good pace: approximately 5:50 for the first 4k, and then in the second half my performance slowed to approximately 6:50.

Although my feet and legs hurt as I completed the challenge, it's worth noting that it was easy because I kept a steady pace and breathed steadily.

At the end, we drank tizana and ate fruit until we were stuffed.
