There's nothing like a day spent hiking in Shawnee National Forest to put your head on straight!

Miles and miles of trails with all the beautiful scenery you can handle.

The weather was an absolutely perfect low 70s with little humidity, something very rare in southern Illinois!

This forest is two hours south of where we live, so it's always a great to come down here and immerse ourselves in nature.
