My Actifit Report Card: January 25 2021
I decided to have a little bit of fun with Jovi yesterday, she was not amused...
Today was a pretty good day. I didn't want to get up this morning but I did and I crushed my two mile workout.
My body still has some aches and pains buy I have been able to work through them so far.
We had a school board meeting tonight so I am getting to bed a little later than usual.
We are supposed to be getting some snow tonight so we will see what happens with that.
I have to do some side work after work so hopefully it doesn't get too bad.
I found out today that I get my first dose of the vaccine on thursday. I know a lot of people have mixed feelings about the vaccine. Heck I was one of them six months ago.
I am going to get it anyway. I just want to be able to see my family again without worrying about infecting them.

The efficacy numbers for both vaccines are really, really good. The follow up numbers on the original trials look quite good too (pretty early to be anything like sure). So, I guess that means I'm glad you are getting your shot.
I am in Arizona pool B (recently upgraded from C) so will probably be able to sign up in the next couple of weeks. I will wait til at least April to get my first shot, and (now) mainly due to letting the more urgent people in my pool get theirs first.
I am a bit concerned about the new variants in the Virus. At this point in the roll out procedure it might be too late for quite a bit of the world. If they are genuinely resistant to the vax it might be too late for everybody. Not really good news.
Anyway, I had my questions about the vaxs, and mostly have had them answered. I'll get it when I can.
I've never tried to 'dress' Sam, but I'm guessing he wouldn't like it much :) He's been visiting for a week and comes home today so my steps will go back up.
Yeah, I was skeptical with the vaccine at first too, but it seems that there are a lot of people who are confident in it. Unless they are going on TV and getting injected with a placebo. :) I have heard the Maderna vaccine might be more effective against the other strains. Who knows. That is the one I am getting it sounds like. I got lucky dressing Jovi this time. Her legs got stuck and she started to freak out a little but I was able to get her out before she tore it to shreds or something worse!
