Ekonomia nie jest łatwa, dlatego trzeba być szczególnie uważnym na zakupach. Wszedłem dziś na dział z kosmetykami po szampon do włosów, a wiadomo, że prawdziwy mężczyzna uznaje tylko taki, który jest nie tylko do włosów. Na trzech półkach stały buteleczki tego samego szamponu, ale o różnych pojemnościach. Jakież było moje zdziwienie, że najmniejsza (250 ml) była o około 10% droższa od średniej (330 ml). Największa (675 ml) z kartą lojalnościową była o 15% droższa od tej o najmniejszej pojemności. Gdzie tu jakiś sens?

I went to the cosmetics aisle today for hair shampoo, and everyone knows a real man only accepts the kind that isn't just for hair. The largest one (675 ml), with a loyalty card, was 15% more expensive than the smallest one. Where is the logic in that?

Wieczorem wybrałem się do miasta, żeby zobaczyć, jak idą postępy w przygotowaniu świątecznego jarmarku, który startuje już jutro. Na Grand Place prawie wszystko gotowe: budki już stoją, trwało ustawianie świateł i próbny pokaz świetlny na budynkach wokół placu. Jak już wszystko będzie gotowe, to pewnie tam się wybierzemy na grzane wino i może coś jeszcze.
