My Actifit Report Card: August 31 2020
Started to a balmy spring day. Got the chores out the way so I could go riding. Rode down to Apple Tree Bay to do the weekly check on orchids.
A bit of fun watching 9 people load into the rubber ducky - not safe but they were OK.
First time flowering for blunt greenhood 5 metres from where I park my bike. Been waiting for 3 months to see the flower.
It was a day for pterostylis curta - twins dancing
And a huge colony growing in the aboriginal midden - they show the signs of too much lime
Small gnat orchid still flowering - last legs now
They are so dainty
It is not all orchids. Was also treated to see a yellow tailed black cockatoo - just a flash of back and the distinctive call.
That call had me stop and saw a flash of white - caladenia catenata. I have not seen them here and surprised to find them just 5 metres above sea level. Only one.

Found some new sun orchids on the way up the hill - some 20 metres into the bush - 3 plants.

A fine collection of blooms for spring.
Ride of 18 kms and 300 meters of climbing. The hills help the training.
Dinner: Bbq lamb chops
Trade action: two forex trades. Long AUDUSD (winner) and long AUDCAD (still open). Working hard to be rigorous this time around.
