Late and slow start to the day. Spent time updating accounts from options expiry on Friday. Pottered around in the garden fertilizing all the orchids. Needed to get out for a walk when the clouds cleared enough. Down the local track to check on one orchid a friend had seen down his way

Found new flowers beyond where I walked last week - the front on action shot looks quiet
There was a spider spinning a web - back view shows the new web. I saw it from the front but could not get a shot

Mission today was to see if pterostylis acuminata had started as a friend saw some this weekend not far away
Close. Decided to walk along further to see if the dipodium variegatum I saw 3 weeks ago was flowering. My Facebook memories said they did this week last year.
Got these beauties - maybe photo of the week.
And these trumpets. Love the purple on the side on
Dipodium was not to be found. I tracked back and saw a flash of purple below the track

Close up. 4 orchid day makes for a great afternoon walk and it did not rain.
