A quiet Gold Coast morning - complete with a crucifix orchid

Frittered the morning away. Had a nice lunch - then the big storm clouds came up. Went for a ride before the rain. Headed up to Paradise Point and looped around to Helensvale

Gold Coast has some good cycling infrastructure - good to cycle in somewhat separated paths at good speed.

GPS return to start had me go down this dead end - there must have been a walkway back some time ago.

Nice ride albeit a bit busy around the school zones

Fab sunset over the water.

Lovely dinner made by our host. Orgy watched The Durrells.
