My Actifit Report Card: May 29 2021

A grey and cold and windy morning. We have a 70th birthday lunch. I was keen to walk Seven Mile Beach NP to look for orchids. Got on the bicycle and smashed down wind to the nearest access road.

Not walked this section before. Plenty of heart shaped leafed orchid leaves but only a few flowers. Yellow spot is pollen

Twins. Track makes its way to the beach and crosses several dunes. Was hoping to see speculantha orchids on the dunes closer to the beach - no luck

Weather has been stormy. Sea is very chopped up.

Was a hard ride back into the wind. It was a 7 kms time trial in which I increased average speed for the day. Happy with that.

Was in time for bus to take us to lunch. We had a fab meal at Far Meadow Table Berry. Iain and Karen Smart do amazing stuff. Happy 70th birthday Judith.
