My Actifit Report Card: June 15 2021

Another clear blue sky greets a body not wanting to get up. Pushed hard and made breakfast for my wife and her brother. He is going home today. I will use the time of their drive home to explore a local National Park I do not know well.

Walked from the fire trail onto Great North Walk - bingo in the first 10 metres

I was hoping to find these in Seven Mile Beach NP earlier in the week.

Trim greenhood - diplodium concinna

Flower is 3 inches off the ground and less than half an inch long.

Leaf rosette of 3 leaves right on the ground. Walked a long section of the track along the river. Not much happening on the downhill side

Never seen a green mushroom

Did find clusters of orchids especially on the way back on uphill side of the track. None where the river overflows. Chiloglottis leaves - two opposed on the ground

No shortage of mushrooms - maybe I should become a mushroom spotter

Found a few of these still flowering well

Banksia coming to the end of their flowering time

A cluster of coral fungus amongst the grasses

Did find a colony of greenhoods finished - going to guess sharp greenhoods.

It was a day for mushrooms - only took a few photos

Today was my mother's birthday. She would have been 97. This is the first birthday since her passing. RIP
