First Hyacinth Orchid on Local Track : My Actifit Report Card: November 26 2021

Another grey and rainy day. Am sure over these grey days - feels like England. Fed all the birds including the kookaburras. They do not visit often. I dig worms out of the compost bin and put them on the lawn - they find them with their eagle eyes

I donned the raincoat and grabbed the umbrella to walk the local track - got to get out

I knew where the first orchid would be - challenging photo side on. Cryptostylis subulata - new opener

Captured the pink against the flow of the new track down the hill

Hyacinth orchid in a known location. The drop tells me there may be a fungal infection happening. Good news there are only 2 out of 5 plants affected thus far

Missed this orchid on my last walk this way- microtis parviflora- first time seen on this track. One of two plants

Good to see hyacinth orchids above the track given how the track work smashed all the plants on the track

Tracked back and found an open variegated hyacinth orchid below the track
