Building Sites into the Sunset: June 28 2022
Sunny morning turned into a grey day. Not the way to add to feeling a cold coming - not had one of those for 3 years.
Was up early when my wife left to go to work. Walked the dog we are looking after - bad choice of walk up the main road too busy to cross to get to the quiet streets.
The dog is easy to look after but pretty demanding for company. When he is not nuzzling up he is in the garden barking at birds and voices and dogs around. Got investing post out
Walked the dog in the late afternoon again. Found a few back roads to walk - dog has less to sniff
Photo theme is construction work - this little house was knocked down during 2020 lockdown. Must have approvals for the new build started a few days ago.
Last week I walked past this one, it was a steel frame - now all bricked in.
Crane delivering frames for this new one - secondary theme is building work against the setting sun
Caught up with investment accounting - now only a few days behind.
Dinner: Leftovers - classic osso bucco makes great leftovers
Investing: Bought TIT.MI, HVT.V, BHS.V, GGD.TO. Sold 9908.T, BJK. A mix of bottom fishing in Canada and Italy and losing patience with gaming in Macau and sports betting in US. Need the cash. Sold USD for AUD to pay pensions.
