A stinking hot day on the way - forecast says 38C. We have a farewell BBQ down the road for a friend whose daughter is going to Japan for a 2 year assignment. I figured there would not be a lot of walking - so I walked from home

Apartment sold just below the shops - a 2 bed 1 bath 1 carpark - smaller than our place - we have 2 baths. Would love to have 2 parks

Another one for sale - looks nicely done up

New development on Beans Farm Road - 40% sold and work is not done. Detailed looking shows a lot of shoddy stuff - paint repairs not painted over

Need some flowers - lilies wilting in the heat

We had a good farewell. Most people especially the little uns spent time in the pool. Did not have my swimmers. Cloud cover increased making the front end quite pleasant. Got stinking when that burned away. Was an interesting lunch. The Navy folk all talk in code

Got to say I am really struggling to get over this photo of my friend under the tarpaulin - need to get my affairs a lot more organised before too long

Was 41C when we got in the car to come home.

Weather over here all over the place cool with wind and rain, then in between smoldering hot at 36C feel.

Lovely stone church, flowers and interesting outing on the day, good you drove home not fun in heat after a day out.

Sounds like a fun gathering despite the heat. The kids must have had a blast in the pool, and the views of the local architecture look amazing too.
