My Actifit Report Card: August 29 2020

Actifit app still not working properly 😒. In almost every cycle stop at least once.
I did my evening walk, which usually was over 20 thousand steps. Today just over 12 thousand. Even aggressive background tracking didn't help.

Photography: sunset from the other day.
It was cloudy and dark day, and I was constantly checking if actifit is working, so I didn't took any photos to decorate my report.

A jaki OS? Na xiaomi (emui) też na początku mi zabijało aplikacje w tle, ale w ustawieniach baterii była opcja. Jeżeli android to jeszcze spróbuj kłódka zablokować zabijanie aplikacji (w menu aktualnie włączonych apek)

Dziękuję bardzo za Twoją pomoc @sk1920 mój OS to Android. Udało mi się załatwić bezsenność dla actifit aplikacji.

Ale znalazłem coś dziwnego:

Actifit nie jest na liście aplikacji, które mają dostęp do liczenia kroków 🤪. Niestety nie znalazłem opcji aby go tam dodać.
Cóż, zobaczę jak będzie pracować dzisiaj. Jeśli nic się nie poprawi, spróbuję poszukać pomocy na Actifit Discord.

On Samsung is Android.
Go to the application permissions and set it as shown

Thanks a lot for your kind help @bucipuci.
It looks like my Android is a bit different than yours. In my application permissions I cannot access required settings

But I found something wired:

Actifit doesn't have permission to track my physical activities 🥴. And I couldn't find the way to fix this.
I managed to block Actifit from sleeping, will see if that helps. If not then I'll go to Actifit Discord for help.

Try this:

Settings

  • battery and power
    • select applications
      • Actifit Fitness Tracker
        • no restrictions.

The version of the android may vary, but some similar steps should be everywhere.

I have checked this on my old Samsung 8 and it is exactly 💯 %, as you said. Unfortunately New version of Android doesn't give you as much control 😕

Today, everything revolves around energy consumption. User applications are truncated on all sides so as not to strain the battery. Interestingly, the applications that come with the system have almost everything enabled. It is a mystery why, for example, "Notes" have the opportunity to monitor my activity.

You are absolutely 💯 right. In my search for solutions to Actifit problem I found permission manager, and in it list of apps that can access my physical activities:

Why there are apps like Google play and StarTracker?
But Actifit is missing. Oh, and of course I can't modify this list!

It was explained to me somewhere that Actifit is written in such a way that it "only monitors" the motion sensor and does not need authorization to do so.
It is important for Actifit not to "sleep"

That explains why it isn't among the apps with permission to use sensor. It looks like when I left it open, it worked OK.
