Time to Arsenal to wrap up their transfer activity
After a solid 3-0 away win against Fulham to kick off the season one couldn’t ask for more from the team! There is still a bit of rustiness and errors to sort out at the back but going forward the team is looking solid
I think there is still work to be done to the squad and it looks like some personal changes will be on the way before the transfer window closes
Martinez to Villa
Arsenals number 2 looks set to depart for around $20 mil to Villa, while I rate him and think he should stay
He has been at Arsenal for ages and his looking for regular game time and to boost his international opportunities so I can’t blame the move and I wish him well at Villa
Glad that we’re not going to leave Matt Macey as the only back up and David Raya from Brentford will hopefully wrap up this deal so we have a new young goalie ready to push Leno
Midfield changes
it looks like Elneny has come back with a bang and to stake a claim for his midfield spot! I think that leaves room for either Geundouzi or Torriera to move on and we’d be fine!
I’d like to see Partey join but I doubt we have the pull and the capital to get the deal done!
Have your say

I am a Jessie!
Well I am a Willian fan, man of the match and 2 assists in his first game 😜 thanks for letting him go
Hahahah rob it in my face bro!
lol let’s see what your new recruits do tonight
Lol we better win!
I doubt Elneny will stay but I'm happy for Martinez. I hope he gets enough game time and eventually feature for Argentina. He's such a lovable character and I'm happy he took his chance when it came.
How dare you? Mo has put in two solid performances not that i'd be sad to see him go but he seems to keep Xhaka more relaxed than the other partners, yes its a bit boring but that's what you need to allow the attackers to do their thing. I agree and Martinez has been patient for very long he deserves a crack at being first choice somewhere
Lol Don't get carried away by Mo's last two games. For every good game like this, there's a headless chicken performance in the waiting. Then again, if Mikel can cut out his excesses, he might come good. He's often caught out of position because if his forrays up the field. He wasn't man of the match against Fulham though.
I hope we get decent money for him and then bring in someone sturdy but with less chance of being caught out like Partey.
