My Actifit Report Card: May 5 2023
Finally, it's Friday—and a hectic one!
We had a special assembly to commemorate Hari Raya in the morning at work. The majority of us wear traditional Bruneian clothing, such as Baju Melayu for men and Baju Kurung, Kebaya, or Juba for women. Despite the heat, I chose to wear a Juba because I like how free-flowing it feels and I tried my best to stay indoors with the AC blasting. LOL. There were performances, which took place in our school's theatre and lasted 50 minutes. The kids and I both enjoyed the show.
When it was break time, some of my colleagues brought different foods, which they all shared at the table. I, on the other hand, just brought myself. LOL. Well, I was not informed of such a potluck, so no guilt here. 😂
I had a piece of each and the garlic bread with the spinach dip was yumssss!
Then in the afternoon, I went for my afternoon job which is to help supervise a playdate. It was supposed to be a walk in Tasek Park but it was cancelled as it started to drizzle. We moved to an indoor park instead and the kids were ok with the transition. Given how hot it was outside, I assume they prefer the AC room playground.
As there was no food at home and there's no way you can make me cook, my housemate friend and I meet up for dinner. I had Lamb Shawarma Kebab and Sesame balls and of course my favourite dessert of all time, a yoghurt ice cream from Ilao Ilao.
