Thank you @chocolatescorpi! I'm sure she will be fine; I talked with her on the phone today and she sounds good. The problem is that we feel it might be good to give it 14 days before we hike together just in case. Maybe we are crazy, but after talking with my husband's childhood friend a little while ago, maybe not so crazy. take care!

I know when you get to feeling better, you don't always want to wait. She won't hike without us as we hike in cougar territory. Take care my friend!
