While it's easy to fall into this mental trap, I don't think there's anything in life that is all good or all bad.
There are things that have more good aspects, sure. Like rainbows, rainbows are pretty excellent.
Similarly, there are things that have more bad aspects. Like several political leaders that I can currently think of.
But all of life has positive and negative aspects woven into its whole.
I think Actifit is one of these.
Positives:
- I'm posting every day
- I get to talk (write!) about my day
- It's something for Brad and I to connect over
Negatives:
- I don't always feel like doing a post every day
- I don't receive anywhere near as much HIVE for these posts as ones where I wrote something longer, more well thought out, more meaningful
- (And the one that I'm really noticing) It's too easy for me to post but not read anyone else's posts
While Brad and I got on Hive for the potential to be rewarded, in crypto, for creating content it's the PEOPLE that keep drawing me back when I fall off the wagon.
I have learned SO MUCH from reading the posts of people from other nations, ethnicities and cultures.
People fascinate me and I have grown as a person by being on here.
But the way I was creating content previously meant that the moment my business required more content, I disappeared of Hive. I can't seem to do both.
So, it's Actifit for now. But long term I think I'm going to have to figure out some kind of system that allows me to get everything I need and want.

I still don't really have any theme or niche for ehat I write. It's a potpourri of prose. Or maybe a stinky pile of crap. But it's my crap, not A.I. slop!
I have a favorites feed I read and curate regularly, a larger following feed I try to keep up with browsing and sometimes curating, and communities I really should inetract with more, but I don't always. Every now and again, I'll remember to check the tags for new users and offer ecnouragement, a delegation of resource credits, and some sage advice.
Oh, and I've also downvoted a lot of spam and plagiarism over the years.
Everything is a learning process. New markdown formatting ideas, new recipes, craft inspiration....
