7K Rock Hunting at Portage Park- My Actifit Report Card: August 22 2020

Getting back on track for the day with the post they should’ve done this morning rather than the day previous. Yesterday was our day off together and we ended up going to Portage Park.

Not as many steps yesterday but at least I am breaking the trend of missing an Actifit post over the weekend ... though 2 in one day it still counts right? 😅

Rock Hunt, Portage Park - Set Your Mind, Get IT!!!

Such a cool little area I love coming here on our days off, always a different variety of hidden objects to discover...

Obviously by the video Mel is the real hunter but I enjoy tagging along and the discovery. Jerry gets right into it sometimes showing us where some of the rock on the ground are located.

People get really creative with where they hide the rocks. Some end up stuffed into the trees while others left right in plain sight. Not only do they get creative with placement but each one is painted with a name on the bottom.

After having a lazy morning and going for a decent walk I don’t feel guilty when saying we came home ate appetizers and passed out. It was Mel‘s last day of vacation and our only day together this week, obviously we just binge watched some Netflix for the evening 🤟

So I take it where you are, hiding rocks for people to find is a past time? I think that's kind of cool! I really like the ladybug rock. You did well with your 7071 @actifit steps for the day. Take care and happy rock hunting!
