It has been a very pleasant day. I took a nice walk around the town with work colleagues, we are all currently off work due to the Covid situation but met for some fresh air and a coffee.
The main picture shows a bandstand which has been moved many times in its life as you can see in the next picture of the information board.
The bandstand originally stood in the Gatwick Racecourse, before the airport was built. It was moved to town where it has been restored to its original condition. It was moved yet again when the town square was renovated. This time in its present position in the Memorial Gardens.
Some more pictures of the town. Including an information board in the High Street.
It was quite busy with people out enjoying the sunshine, but still a cold wind in the shade.
I cycled to town and back, but got caught in a heavy shower on the way home.
