At last! A chance to get out on my bike!
After a day making sure the family were happy, delivering a doll's house etc. I got changed for a mountain bike ride in the evening sunshine

Taking the back roads for a while on the outward leg I arrived at a nice concealed entrance to some woods.

I took a picture from both directions here.

Onward to the edge of Horsham then back into Leachpool wood. There are many wooden walkways here.


Further on, at the edge of St Leonard's Forest I came across this!

Someone had cut the overgrown gorse bushes and left it on the ground. Very hazardous for bicycles!

I carried my bike through here!
On my way through St Leonard's Forest there is a nice bench, suitable for a rest, but wood ants have setup there home underneath and the bench is smothered with 🐜.

Back down through Holmbush forest and into Buchan Park. I took one picture of the lovely lake.

Over the main road via a footbridge and home. A round trip of about 13 miles.
