As you can see by my activity count today it has been a recovery day. I have three days off work so I can catch up on some things that were on my bucket list! I did manage a short shopping trip with the wife including a usual coffee thrown in for good measure.
Later on our daughter, who is visiting from Ireland, took us for lunch at a well known carvery restaurant as a belated birthday present for me. That was smashing! She will be travelling back home early tomorrow morning, so it was good to spend some time with her.
