There was another lull in the weather. In other words an opportunity for a ride! šŸ˜œ
It is very mild for the time of year too. We would usually be having frosts at night but I don't think we have had a single night below freezing yet.

I took a picture nearly fifteen years ago at this spot, where the totem is. That was just after the dam was strengthened and landscaping was done. I must dig it out and repost it some time.

Its now time to keep to harder tracks and avoid the forest tracks as they are getting too soft and muddy. I look forward to next spring when I can once again venture out there.

I stopped to turn around at a nice spot at the top of a small hill. There are nice views from here and the sunshine was good too.

I might have to make sure I have also got some lights with me. The shorter daylight hours can catch you out on an afternoon ride, especially if its cloudy. I used to carry everything but the kitchen sink with me, to cover any unfortunate events like punctures but now maybe just a banana for energy. šŸ˜…
