My Actifit Report Card: August 2 2021
Over the weekend I took a day trip to the beach. Standing in the surf for 3 hours works your leg muscles very well. I was sore on Sunday and I wasn't sure if I could do my walk this morning, but I gave it a go.
We are supposed to have mild weather for the week and the morning didn't disappoint. It was in the high 60's and not very humid.
It didn't take long before I realized I wouldn't be walking very fast this morning. I barely made it up the first hill without limping. My pace was definitely going to be slower.
I managed to hang on to the turnaround point with only thinking about stopping twice. There were only a couple dog walkers out today and 2 new walkers on the way back.
I will try to do the walk tomorrow, because the best thing for a sore butt muscle is movement and not sitting.

MY legs let me know they werent used to walking on wet Sand after a recent walk on a beach, so I can only imagine how yours must have felt after 3 hours in the surf
