Zmęczenie coraz bardziej daje mi się we znaki, w piątek z trudem pokryłem podłogę w łazience folią w płynie. Ten etap wymaga staranności, tak aby uszczelnić podłoże przed potencjalnymi przeciekami. Staram się wciąż wyrabiać mięsień działania i przekraczam jakieś tam pojawiające się opory. Staram się też uczyć odróżniać te opory od zmęczenia, także większość weekendu poświęciłem już na mniej lub bardziej aktywny wypoczynek.

Prawda jest jednak taka, że już mi wystarczy tego remontowania i całe moje jestestwo chce już czegoś innego. Nigdy nie pracowałem tak długo nad jednym projektem, lub w jednym miejscu i już mnie aż nosi. A tu jeszcze parę rzeczy trzeba zrobić zanim zasłużę na wakacje.

Wyciągnąłem ostatnio z kosza 3 pełne wiadra farby do ścian. Zdaję sobie sprawę, że farby mają swój termin przydatności i lepiej już w ogóle nie pomalować niż pomalować farbą, która się zepsuła. Poprosiłem jednak AI o protokół sprawdzenia przydatności farby, pierwszy etap przeszła pomyślnie, nie śmierdzi. Do malowania jednak jeszcze chwila.

Na razie szykuję się mentalnie do wylewki, mam dwa worki wylewki z różnych firm, również wyjęte z kosza. Czat radzi nie mieszać produktów, bo składniki mogą być niekompatybilne, no ale chyba zaryzykuję mimo wszystko, w poprzedniej łazience wyszło dobrze.

Fatigue is increasingly taking its toll on me—on Friday, I barely managed to coat the bathroom floor with liquid foil. I'm still trying to train my “action muscle” and push through various internal resistances. I'm also learning to distinguish those resistances from actual exhaustion, so I spent most of the weekend on more or less active rest.

The truth is, I’ve had enough of this renovation work—my whole being is craving something different. I’ve never worked this long on a single project or in one place, and I’m getting really restless. And yet, there are still a few things that need to be done before I can earn a proper vacation.

Recently, I pulled three full buckets of wall paint out of the trash. I know paint has a shelf life and that it’s better not to paint at all than to paint with spoiled paint. Still, I asked AI for a protocol to check if the paint is still usable, and it passed the first stage—it doesn’t smell bad. But I’m not painting just yet.

For now, I’m mentally preparing for the floor leveling. I have two bags of self-leveling compound from different brands, also salvaged from the trash. The chat recommends not mixing different products, as their ingredients might be incompatible—but I think I’ll take the risk anyway. It worked fine in the previous bathroom.
