Another day in the life. Crazed monoliths crashing from some extraterrestrial convexity shattered here on earth pavement. Why else would the derelict relics be compounded with such desperate haste? I stroll around the wreckage. People blink and turn their eyes fervently side to side looking for something they’re missing, but they can’t think what it was. I jump on my board and cruise betwixt the pebbles.

This whittled twig the wedges its way underneath my wheel and sends me flying could’ve been the wand of some witch unseen. Why did she hurl these abstruse miseries at me across the gravelly cosmos?
